Spectre production

Pre production
- Estimated budget of $245,000,000
- The locations were established, filming locations included London, Mexico City and Rome. The film was marketed as a British brand as most of the film setting is London based.
- The cast also needed to be established, Spectre is Daniel Craig's fourth  performance as James Bond which means that he already has an iconic image established and everyone knows who he is.

Production
- Thomas Newman returned as Spectre‍ 's composer. Rather than composing the score once the film had moved into post-production, Newman worked during filming
- High tech equipment set the scene to make them appear as agents whereas props like guns and cars link to the genre and violence.
- High Key Lighting constantly shifting creates an explosive/dangerous theme and the constant flashes of light reflect the chaos
- Low Key Lighting and shadows show how secretive these agents are and set a mysterious atmosphere.

Post production
- In September 2015 it was announced that Sam Smith and regular collaborator Jimmy Napes had written the film's title theme, "Writing's on the Wall", with Smith performing it for the film
- The theme tune is iconic
